Edward's Cognitive Development Stage

Edward's Cognitive Development Stage

According to Piaget, Edward is currently in the concrete operational stage of cognitive development.

The concrete operational stage is the third stage in Piaget's theory of cognitive development. It typically occurs between the ages of 7 to 11 years old. During this stage, children like Edward begin to develop a more sophisticated understanding of logical thoughts and operations. They are able to think more logically about concrete events and objects in their environment.

While Edward is in the concrete operational stage, he may still struggle with abstract ideas and hypothetical thinking. However, as he progresses through this stage, he will continue to refine his cognitive abilities and gain a deeper understanding of the world around him.
