Choose the Right Roller Position for Your Material Volume

Roller Positions and Volume

Roller systems play a crucial role in processing materials efficiently. The position of the rollers in the system can significantly impact the volume of the material being processed. In this case, when aiming to reduce the volume of material being processed, it is recommended to use the bottom roller position.

The bottom roller position allows for the material to pass through the smallest gap between the rollers. As a result, less material is processed compared to other roller positions. This is beneficial when you want to minimize the volume of the substance you are working with.

Conversely, the top roller position would create the largest gap for the material to pass through, leading to a higher volume being processed. If your goal is to handle a larger volume of material, the top roller position may be the more suitable choice.
